ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Mario Chalmers, Shooting guard Dwyane Wade, Small forward Quentin Richardson, Power forward Michael Beasley, Center Joel Anthony. Bench -- Forward Udonis Haslem, Center Jamaal Magloire, Forward Dorell Wright. PLAYER NOTES: --A game after joining Dennis Johnson and David Thompson as the only NBA players listed 6-4 or under to record at least 400 career blocks since the league began tracking them in 1974-73, G Dwyane Wade added two more in the first quarter in Sacramento, one against 6-11 Kings guard Donte Greene and one against 6-11 forward Jason Thompson.
--F Dorell Wright entered early against the Kings to help against the length of G Tyreke Evans. But Wright was equally active on offense, with his cuts to the basket and his stroke. "I think he's been giving us good minutes," coach Erik Spoelstra said.
--With C Jermaine O'Neal away from the team due to a personal matter, F Michael Beasley found himself at center early in the fourth quarter against the Kings. Beasley also had his moments against the Kings' zone. Beasley was forced to the bench with his fifth foul with 8:20 to play. But his 20 points made a difference.
