ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Mario Chalmers, Shooting guard Dwyane Wade, Small forward James Jones, Power forward Michael Beasley, Center Jermaine O'Neal. Bench -- Center Joel Anthony, Forward Udonis Haslem, Guard Carlos Arroyo, Forward Quentin Richardson, Guard Daequan Cook. PLAYER NOTES: --G Dwyane Wade found his stroke again in Sunday's 92-85 loss to the Celtics, filling the box score with 27 points, six assists and five rebounds. Wade's final rebound of the first half was the 2,000th of his career. His 17-foot jumper with 5:47 to play in the third quarter gave him the franchise all-time lead in field goals made, passing Glen Rice.
--F Michael Beasley took advantage of his leading-man role this time when Wade went to the bench at the start of the fourth quarter. Beasley was brilliant in the period's opening minutes, pushing the Heat to a 74-69 lead. He closed with 18 points and seven rebounds.
--G Mario Chalmers may eventually turn into a Rajon Rondo-type player, but based on Sunday's head-to-head matchup, he certainly is not there yet. Chalmers is attacking the rim more, and that's encouraging.
MEDICAL WATCH:
--F Quentin Richardson (back) returned to the rotation after missing four games due to back spasms sustained during last Wednesday's game in Atlanta.
--C Jermaine O'Neal (ankle) twisted his ankle during Saturday's practice but played Sunday against the Celtics.
--G Chris Quinn (bruised foot) is out of his walking boot and available for his first action of the season. He has yet to make it off the inactive list.
