ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Mario Chalmers, Shooting guard Dwyane Wade, Small forward James Jones, Power forward Michael Beasley, Center Jermaine O'Neal. Bench -- Guard Daequan Cook, Forward Udonis Haslem, Center Joel Anthony, Guard Carlos Arroyo. PLAYER NOTES: --G Dwyane Wade's shooting slump officially is over, after Sunday's 12 of 21 against the Hornets. It did, however, again get to a bit too much of give-it-to-Wade-and-get-out-of-the-way for the Heat in the victory. Wade's 3-pointer with 3:44 to play tied him with Steve Smith for 13th place on the Heat's all-time list.
--F Udonis Haslem did not call "glass" on his second of two late fourth-quarter jumpers, but he did have enough confidence to take the shots. He scored 14 points off the bench in his first game back after missing two with a strained left shoulder.
--G Mario Chalmers had his moments in the first quarter against the Hornets after Dwyane Wade was forced to the bench with foul trouble. Chalmers also had his moments in the preseason when Wade was sidelined. Could it be that Chalmers simply is more aggressive when playing away from Wade? And could that be an argument for a spot with the second unit?
MEDICAL WATCH:
--F Udonis Haslem (shoulder) returned after missing two games because of a strained left shoulder.
--F Quentin Richardson (back) has missed the past two games because of back spasms sustained during last Wednesday's game in Atlanta. He is uncertain if he will be able to make it back for Wednesday's game in Orlando.
--G Chris Quinn (bruised foot) is out of his walking boot and available for his first action of the season. He has yet to make it off the inactive list.
