ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Mario Chalmers, Shooting guard Dwyane Wade, Small forward Quentin Richardson, Power forward Michael Beasley, Center Jermaine O'Neal. Bench -- Forward Udonis Haslem, Guard Carlos Arroyo, Center Joel Anthony, Forward Dorell Wright, Guard Daequan Cook.PLAYER NOTES:
--F Michael Beasley was shaky against the Thunder, opening 1-of-5 with a foul, a turnover and no rebounds. Beasley, in fact, did not have a rebound over his 23 minutes. "We didn't come about to play and I didn't come out to play," he admitted.
--F Quentin Richardson, 6-foot-6, defended 6-11 F Kevin Durant, which left the Thunder forward to score at will simply by shooting over the top. Durant scored 14 points in the opening period but only two more in the second quarter, when the defensive assignment went to others. Richardson became a non-factor, still yet to get to the foul line this season.
--G Daequan Cook's shooting stroke finally appears to be back, and it is sorely needed. Returning from a recent shoulder injury, Cook shot 4-of-9 on 3-pointers. "That's probably what he needed," coach Erik Spoelstra said.
MEDICAL WATCH:
--C Jermaine O'Neal returned after being held out Saturday night against the Nets because of a bruised left hip.
--G Chris Quinn (bruised foot) is out of his walking boot and available for his first action of the season. He has yet to make it off the inactive list.
--F Udonis Haslem (shoulder) continues to nurse a bruised shoulder.
