ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Mario Chalmers, Shooting guard Dwyane Wade, Small forward Quentin Richardson, Power forward Michael Beasley, Center Jermaine O'Neal. Bench -- Forward Udonis Haslem, Center Joel Anthony, Guard Carlos Arroyo, Forward Dorell Wright. PLAYER NOTES: --F Quentin Richardson's lack of height at small forward became a factor when Luol Deng, with his high release, got off to a hot start. That led to F Dorell Wright getting his first significant minutes of the season. Wright's second-quarter block of a Kirk Hinrich jumper was his first blocked shot since Feb. 23, 2008 against Philadelphia. Wright entered even with F James Jones on the active roster after missing Friday's victory in Indiana with a stomach virus.
--F Michael Beasley was aggressive off the boards early. The Heat's tag team at power forward continues to produce impressive results, as F Udonis Haslem then entered and filled up the scoring and rebounding columns. The two again wound up playing side-by-side for extended stretches, with Beasley shifting to small forward.
--G Carlos Arroyo provided quality minutes in reserve of G Mario Chalmers at the top of the second quarter against the Bulls. Chalmers then returned for an impressive, and physical, stint against Bulls G Kirk Hinrich.
MEDICAL WATCH:
--G Daequan Cook (shoulder) sat out Sunday but is hopeful of returning Tuesday against the visiting Suns.
--G Chris Quinn (bruised foot) is out of his walking boot and traveling with the team.
--C Jermaine O'Neal broke his nose against the Bulls but vows to play Tuesday against the Suns, without a mask. Tests are planned Monday.
