Miami Heat Roster Report 2009-01-19

Miami Heat Roster Report 2009-01-19
ROTATION: Starters -- G Mario Chalmers, G Dwyane Wade, F Shawn Marion, F Udonis Haslem, C Joel Anthony. Bench -- F Michael Beasley, G Daequan Cook, G Chris Quinn, C Jamaal Magloire, F Yakhouba Diawara, G Marcus Banks, C Mark Blount, F Dorell Wright, F James Jones.

PLAYER NOTES:

--G Chris Quinn's streak of 21 consecutive made free throws ended Sunday. Quinn, the third-year player from Notre Dame, is shooting .923 (24-for-26) on free throws. He's back in the rotation as the backup point guard and has played in 10 consecutive games.

--F Udonis Haslem had his 12th double-double of the season with 11 points and a season-high 15 rebounds. Miami is 10-2 and on an eight-game win streak when Haslem gets a double-double.

--F Shawn Marion missed Sunday's game at Oklahoma City because of a strained right groin. It's the fifth game he has missed this season.

--F Michael Beasley (four points, four rebounds and four fouls in 10 minutes) didn't fare too well Sunday against Oklahoma City. The seven-game road trip was positive overall, however. Beasley had three 20-point games.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--F Dorell Wright (knee surgery) is out for an undetermined amount of time. There's a chance he's out a full year. He had surgery on his left knee Nov. 25 to remove loose bodies. Wright originally had surgery on his left knee in March to repair a torn ligament.

--C Alonzo Mourning (knee surgery) is out until sometime in January or possibly February. He began running, jumping and dunking in mid-January. Mourning, 38, isn't on the roster, but the Heat expects him to return.
