PLAYER NOTES: --F Michael Beasley had 24 points off the bench Saturday against the Los Angeles Clippers, which ties him for the fourth-best scoring performance as a rookie reserve in franchise history. Harold Miner and Willie Burton each had 27-point games off the bench. Beasley had 19 points Monday at Golden State. The 43-point two-game total is the best back-to-back showing of Beasley's 18-game NBA career.
--G Dwyane Wade had double-digit assists for the fifth time this season. The Heat is 2-3 in those games. Wade has had double-digit assists in back-to-back games twice this season. He had 11 assists against the Clippers on Saturday. Wade finished with 37 points Monday and the Heat is 4-3 in games he scores 30 or more points.
--F Shawn Marion (21 points, season-best 15 rebounds) had his fifth double-double against Golden State. Marion has averaged 10.3 rebounds per game in his last six games.
MEDICAL WATCH:
--F James Jones (right wrist surgery) is out until mid-January. Jones, the Heat's best 3-point shooter, had his cast removed on Nov. 18 and thinks he'll be back sooner than mid-January.
--F Dorell Wright (knee surgery) is out until January. He had surgery on his left knee Nov. 25 to remove loose bodies.
--C Alonzo Mourning (knee surgery) is out until sometime in January or possibly February. Mourning, 38, isn't on the roster but the Heat expects him to return.
