PLAYER NOTES: --G Daequan Cook has hit a three-pointer in 17 consecutive games. Defense is getting him playing time, but his offense is coming around and he's establishing himself as a factor in the rotation.
--G Dwyane Wade has posted back-to-back 10-assist games. He has three double-digit assist games this year as teams continue to send two and three defenders his way. Wade also had a career-high five blocked shots, the second time he's had four or more blocks this year.
--C Joel Anthony continues improving. His shot-blocking is getting better and his work in defensive rotations has been enough to earn him minutes at the expense of F Michael Beasley.
MEDICAL WATCH:
--F James Jones (right wrist surgery) is out until mid-January. Jones, Miami's best three-point shooter, had his cast removed on Nov. 18 and thinks he'll be back sooner.
--C Jamaal Magloire (broken bone left hand) is out until late November. Magloire has been cleared for non-contact drills.
--C Alonzo Mourning (knee surgery) is out until sometime in January or possibly February. Mourning, 38, isn't on the roster but Miami expects him to return.
