ROTATION: Starters -- Guard Mario Chalmers, Guard Dwyane Wade, Forward Shawn Marion, Forward Michael Beasley, Center Udonis Haslem. Bench -- Guard Marcus Banks, Center Mark Blount, Guard Shaun Livingston, Guard Daequan Cook, Guard Chris Quinn, Forward Dorell Wright, Forward Yakhouba Diawara, Center Joel Anthony, Center Jamaal Magloire, Forward James Jones.
PLAYER NOTES: --G Dwyane Wade's defense isn't under suspicion, but facts are facts. In Wade's last four games, he's allowed Memphis' O.J. Mayo 28 points, New York's Jamal Crawford 29 points, held Sacramento's Kevin Martin to nine points, but then allowed Charlotte's Jason Richardson 23.
--G Chris Quinn got his first game action of the season Saturday at Charlotte. Quinn, a third-year player from Notre Dame, didn't play in the opener and was inactive for the Sacramento game.
--G Shaun Livingston, who is coming back from a serious knee injury, played each of the first two games, but he was inactive Saturday at Charlotte. Coach Erik Spoelstra said the team is taking a conservative, big-picture approach with Livingston, who is playing for the first time since his February 2007 injury.
MEDICAL WATCH:
--F Shawn Marion broke his nose in the Heat's Nov. 1 game against Charlotte, though he doesn't know when it happened. "The third quarter, the fourth quarter? I don't know," said Marion. He will wear a face mask to protect his nose but is not expected to miss any time.
--F James Jones (right wrist surgery) is expected to be out until mid-January. Jones, Miami's best 3-point shooter, thinks he'll be back sooner, however.
--C Jamaal Magloire (broken bone left hand) is out until mid-November. Miami needs his bulk in the middle.
--C Alonzo Mourning (knee surgery) is out until sometime in January. Mourning, 38, isn't on the roster, but Miami expects him to return.
