--Injuries are becoming significant. F Udonis Haslem (six stitches in right thumb) is out for the final two regular-season games. F Jamario Moon, the other starter, has missed the last two games with a strained right groin. It's not known whether he'll play Tuesday at Atlanta. C Jermaine O'Neal didn't play the second half of Sunday's game against New York due to a strained left calf but he's expected to be available for the Atlanta game Tuesday.
--Coach Erik Spoelstra said C Jermaine O'Neal shouldn't be struggling to rebound. O'Neal is averaging just 5.4 rebounds with Miami. "It's not too complicated, just get your head to the rim, either roll or slip or run to the rim, there'll be a lot of opportunities there," Spoelstra said.
--F Michael Beasley, who usually isn't on the floor in the final two minutes, has played down the stretch in the last three games. Coach Erik Speosltra said Beasley is "gaining valuable experience, that's part of it, learning how to play those type of minutes, which is another great experience for him. The part I liked about it is that he wasn't pacing himself."
QUOTE TO NOTE: "That's probably the most fatigued he's ever been. He almost had to be carried off the court." -- Coach Erik Spoelstra on F Michael Beasley's 39-minute performance against Boston.
