--Miami has now beaten the team with the second-best record in the league twice this season at AmericanAirlines Arena. The Heat defeated the Los Angeles Lakers, 89-87, on Dec. 19, and defeated Cleveland, 104-95, on Tuesday.
--G Dwyane Wade and F LeBron James hung out together in Miami on Monday to celebrate James' 24th birthday. "For him to celebrate with me, it just shows the type of guy he is, just shows the type of friendship that we have," James said.
--Cleveland F LeBron James doesn't expect F Michael Beasley to be a good defensive player for "two or three years," and said that's normal for someone so young.
"He's a very talented player," James said. "I think what helps him is he gets an opportunity to come in with a guy like D-Wade, where he doesn't have a lot of pressure put on him. But his ability to shoot the ball, to drive the ball, being 6-8, 6-9, he reminds me of Derrick Coleman in his early days."
