Miami Heat Getting Inside 2009-03-24
The Heat has big games coming up Wednesday at Indiana and Thursday at Chicago.

The Heat has a 13-game regular-season losing streak at Conseco Fieldhouse. It's a 16-game losing streak including the 2004 playoffs.

Chicago? The Heat had two dramatic victories over the Bulls this season. In the final game before the All-Star break guard Dwyane Wade stole Thabo Sefolosha's inbounds pass with 3.5 seconds left. The Heat called a timeout and forward Shawn Marion scored the game-winning bucket on a slam dunk off the inbounds pass. It was his final bucket as a member of the Heat.

In the Heat-Bulls game at AmericanAirlines Arena, Wade came up big on the game's final play of a double-overtime victory. Wade stole the ball, then hit a three-point shot to deliver the victory.

The Heat (38-32) is still maintaining the fifth playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, but Philadelphia remains on its heels.

HEAT 94, GRIZZLIES 82: G Dwyane Wade was able to rest, playing just 32 minutes, but he amassed 27 points, eight assists, two steals and one blocked shot to lead the Heat.

C Jermaine O'Neal missed the game due to a sore hip. It's an injury he sustained against Boston and aggravated against Detroit. He's expected back for Wednesday's game at Indiana, where he spent eight seasons.

In O'Neal's place, C Jamaal Magloire posted his first double-double (10 points, season-high 12 rebounds) of the season.

F Michael Beasley (17 points, nine rebounds) also played well off the bench as the Heat jumped to an 11-0 lead and coasted the rest of the way.
