Marion misses 3rd game with strained groin
MIAMI (AP) - Shawn Marion stood in front of his locker Monday night, nattily attired in a sharp suit.

When he'll put a Miami Heat uniform back on is still anyone's guess.

Marion remained sidelined Monday, sitting out Miami's 95-79 win over the Atlanta Hawks because of continued problems with a strained left groin - the third time he's been unable to play out of the past four Heat games.

"It's definitely feeling better today," said Marion, who has been the subject of trade rumors in recent weeks, including a deal that would send him and Marcus Banks to the Toronto Raptors for Jermaine O'Neal. "Just going to lay off of it, but I'm definitely feeling better, though. One day at a time. That's all we can do, and that's what they want me to do."

Marion started last Wednesday against the Boston Celtics, but could play only 8 minutes to open the game and never returned. With that in mind, Marion said the Heat training staff have advised the forward to remain sidelined until he's pain-free.

"I think I've got to just keep treating it and getting worked on," Marion said. "That's all I can do."

Marion is averaging 12 points and nine rebounds this season.
