Marion back for Heat, Randolph back for Clippers

Marion back for Heat, Randolph back for Clippers
MIAMI (AP) - Injured forwards Zach Randolph of the Los Angeles Clippers and Shawn Marion of the Miami Heat were both back for the game between their teams Monday night.

Randolph had missed the Clippers' last 19 games with a bruised left knee. Marion sat out all but eight minutes of Miami's last seven games because of a strained left groin.

Marion checked in for the first time with 8:02 left in the opening quarter, getting a tip-in basket on his first offensive trip down the court. Randolph, who was averaging 23.1 points in 14 games with the Clippers following an early season trade from the New York Knicks, entered with 7:36 left in the first.

The Heat were without guard Daequan Cook (bruised left thigh), who got hurt late in Saturday's loss to the Dallas Mavericks and will not travel when Miami flies to Detroit for a game Wednesday. Cook may rejoin the team in time for Saturday's game at Philadelphia.

In addition to Randolph's return, the Clippers got more good injury news Monday: Center Chris Kaman, who has missed most of the season with a strained left arch, is back with the club and will resume shooting in the coming days, coach Mike Dunleavy said, with hopes that he'll start playing after the All-Star break.
