Jan. 6--Former Miami Heat forward Antoine Walker was arrested and charged with suspicion of drunk driving early Monday in Miami Beach.
Walker's black Mercedes was pulled over about 5 a.m. at 14th Street and Euclid Avenue after a police officer noticed he was driving with his headlights off, the arrest report said. The report said the arresting officer noticed a strong odor of alcohol coming from the car and a sleepy look on Walker's face. Walker refused a Breathalyzer test.
Walker joined the Heat in 2005. He was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2007 and later joined the Memphis Grizzlies, where his contract was bought out in December.
